MindBloom Preschool Programming at Astar Explorer is a full-day early childhood program designed for families who want nurturing care, strong routines, meaningful academic foundations, and enriching experiences throughout the day.
Children participate in literacy, handwriting, mathematics, STEM investigation, music, piano, art, fine-motor development, movement, social-emotional learning, practical life skills, and guided world-language experiences.
Our approach is hands-on, engaging, and developmentally thoughtful. Children learn through investigation, conversation, storytelling, music, games, guided projects, and purposeful play—not by sitting in front of screens or completing worksheets all day.
Our goal is to help children become confident learners, strong communicators, curious thinkers, and respectful members of a diverse world.
Ages 5 and Up
Children ages 5 and above are filled with energy and an innate curiosity about the world around them. They are quickly developing their sense of independence. At Astar, our team is comprised fully of teachers who understand this stage and in turn act as guides to help our children find their natural paths of development.
Early Preschool
Our curriculum will focus on child’s (emotional) feelings, socialization, and self-concept. We will also focus on gross and fine motor skills, language, and cognitive skills.
Preschool
Preschools advantages include a consistent structure and routine, and a focus on early education (which can also inspire a love of learning). Most programs also teach children a variety of cognitive, social, emotional, and language skills. Our curriculum will focus on social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical and gross motor skills.
